In October Jelard Aquino was selected to give a talk on “Genome-wide patterns of selection in Heliconius erato” at the 2019 NIH IDeA bioinformatics conference in Las Vegas. This work was carried out during a Smithsonian fellowship with Krzysztof Kozak. Jelard is now researching indel evolution at U Nevada Reno and looking for PhD opportunities. Best of luck!
